What we collect

If you buy a guide, our checkout provider Hotmart collects the data needed to process your order (name, email, payment details, country for tax). Hotmart is the Merchant of Record and processes this data as a controller/processor under its own policy. We receive your email and order details to deliver the product and provide support.

Welcome discount code

From time to time we offer a public welcome discount code (for example, 5% off) that you simply enter at checkout. It needs no signup and we collect no email from you to use it. If you choose to email us at (contact email to be added before launch), we use your address only to reply.

Analytics & cookies

We use two privacy-first analytics tools to understand, in aggregate, how these guides are read and to improve them: Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity (which can record anonymised session replays and heatmaps, with on-screen text masked by default). We never use this to identify you, and we set no advertising cookies.

We run Google Consent Mode with region-aware defaults. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies and session recording stay off until you opt in with the banner. Elsewhere (for example the United States) privacy-first analytics is on by default and you can opt out at any time. Either way, you can change or withdraw your choice with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to processing. Email (contact email to be added before launch) to exercise any right.

Data retention

Order records are retained as required for tax and accounting; you may request deletion of non-mandatory data at any time.
